NPSA Safer Practice Notice

As well as being able to have a record of your theoretical competency you will now have the ability to record your clinical competency.

The recent NPSA Safer Practice notice, Right Patient, Right Blood (Nov 2006) has stated that there should be competency-based training and assessment of all staff involved in blood transfusions. All staff should be assessed on a three yearly basis.
